Ground Rules for Guests

We ask all guests to follow these basic rules to ensure a smooth, respectful stay for everyone:

General Conduct

  • Treat your Host’s home like your own.

  • Follow the Host’s standard house rules.

  • Cleanliness: Please leave the home in a reasonably clean condition. Hosts may charge cleaning fees, but these are only meant to cover routine tasks like laundry and vacuuming—not deep cleaning due to messes such as moldy dishes or soiled carpets.

  • Litter: Dispose of all trash in designated receptacles. Avoid accumulating excessive waste.

  • Damage: If damage occurs beyond normal wear and tear, notify your Host as soon as possible. Guests are expected to collaborate on reasonable resolutions and reimbursements for broken or missing items, or for unexpected cleaning costs.

Accidents happen. If you or someone in your group (including pets) causes damage during your stay, contact your Host immediately. Your Host may send a reimbursement request to cover the damage; you’ll have 24 hours to respond.

Guest Policies

  • Approved Guests: Only the approved number of guests may stay overnight. If you're unsure about the visitor policy, please check with your Host. Disruptive gatherings are not allowed.

  • Check-in/Checkout Times:

    • Check in only during the Host’s designated window.

    • Complete checkout and return any keys by the stated time. Do not leave belongings behind without prior approval.

  • Smoking: No smoking indoors unless explicitly allowed by the Host. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products.

  • Pets:

    • Pets must be approved in advance.

    • A pet fee must be paid before check-in.

    • Do not bring unauthorized pets into the listing, or exceed the approved number.

    • Service animals are not considered pets and are always allowed under applicable law.

  • Noise: Respect quiet hours. Please keep noise to a reasonable level and avoid disturbing neighbors with loud music, shouting, or slamming doors.

  • Commercial Use: Commercial photography or filming is not allowed unless you have written permission from your Host.

What to Do If You Break or Damage Something

Please notify your Host immediately by messaging them through the booking platform or app. If possible, include a photo of the damage.

Being upfront allows your Host time to fix the issue before their next guest arrives and helps resolve the matter fairly and quickly.

You should let your Host know right away if you break or damage something during your stay. The best way to do this is by sending them a message through the website or app. If you can provide photos, that’s great, too. Being upfront about damage gives your Host as much time as possible to fix it before their next guest arrives. It also gives you and your Host a chance to find a resolution.

Normal check-out is at 11 am, but extensions beyond then may be available.  Please reach out to confirm if possible.

Normal check-in is 4 pm, but early arrivals may be available.  Please reach out to confirm if possible.
